Cubchoo- The Literal Snot Nosed

Description

Cubchoo are Pokemon that often get mixed comments from trainers.
With their fluffy white coats and big eyes, some can't help but find them adorable, though others might find them disgusting thanks to the constant, sticky stream of snot that dangles from their noses.

With most Pokemon, a runny nose is a sign of a sickness such as a cold, but that's not the case for Cubchoo.
In fact, it's actually the other way around, when their noses become dry and rough, that is when you know they are in very bad health.

Their snot is often the key to their survival, not only is it a barometer of their health, but it is also one of their only means of defense.
when faced with a predator or enemy that they cannot easily defeat on their own with physical power, they will swing their heads from side to side, flinging their snot at the foe, aiming at their eyes and feet. when the foe is covered with enough of the sticky fluid, the Cubchoo will then use its icy cold breath to freeze the snot, temporarily stopping the enemy in its tracks and allowing it to escape to safety.

One of the only predators it just cannot fend off on its own is surprisingly of its own kind; Adult Beartics.

Although they will eat a wide arrangement of foods from berries to Walreins, Beartic are no strangers to being cannibals, and if given the chance, they will gladly prey on lost or orphaned Cubchoo. When faced with a hungry, fully grown Beartic, there is very little that a Cubchoo can do except rely on their parents (or trainers) to protect them.
