Simipour is an aquatic primate that is quite relaxed most of the time.
they can be found hanging from the mangroves and swimming in the waters near Humilau City.
they are great with children and also make fantastic companions for both the elderly and the disabled as they seem to enjoy helping those in need. they are the only mammalian Pokemon with a functional pair of gills along with lungs, allowing them to breathe both on land and in water. the Simipour's tentacle-like 'hair' moves on its' own and is always wriggling.

Simisear on the other hand, is one to be a little more cautious around.
though they can be as loving as Simipour, they are known tricksters.
similar to a close relative of theirs (Elekid), they enjoy using their abilities (in this case, fire) to play pranks on people and Pokemon to startle them in order to entertain themselves. An enraged Simisear is capable of shooting out blasts of fire hot enough to turn solid iron into a metallic puddle.
